Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility is now a concept recognized worldwide whereby organizations take responsibility of the society for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders and communities. Organizations voluntarily take steps to improve the quality of life for employees and their families as well as for the local community and society through CSR activities.  Among such activities, initiatives that address hunger, poverty, unemployment and illiteracy are most acclaimed for their contribution towards human life.

AL-Rehman Walfare Trust
Fulfilling its role of being a responsible corporate citizen and valuing humanitarian issues beyond its core business activities, Green way Communcation & Technologies (GWCT) has laid the foundation of AL-Rehman Welfare Trust (ARWT), a non-profit NGO. Started under the banner of HelpPakistan, it is a project that initially aims to address hunger and poverty in the shanty towns of Karachi.

To add strength to this noble cause, many organizations - clients, partners and associates have joined forces with AL-Rehman Welfare Trust (ARWT). Once fully functional, ARWT and HelpPakistan.org have the agenda to help build a mechanism that not will only provide food supplies to the needy but will also make them self sufficient to earn their living.
